The ELES Online Study Skills Handbook provides a comprehensive and interactive online guide for the school community (students, parents and teachers) as to the study skills needed for success in high school studies.
Our curriculum caters for the diverse needs of students ranging from Vocational Courses to the most challenging HSC courses available. Beyond the curriculum we provide educational programs to develop each individual to their full potential. During the first two years of high school core areas of the curriculum are developed.
Learning from Home refers to the way Sylvania High School will maintain teaching and learning in the current circumstances. These documents outline support and resources for students to work towards continuity of learning.
Sylvania High School is a popular destination for International students who choose to study in NSW. Our school boasts outstanding 21st Century learning environments and our International students have the convenience of living with experienced and caring host families who reside close to the school. International Students at Sylvania High School are able to choose from a wide range of exciting elective subjects along side their core studies, which in many cases complement the studies in their country of origin.
