State Open Water Polo Representative!
A.Scott was recently involved in the CHS State team after gaining selection while competing for Sydney East in the CHS Waterpolo tournament. The CHS played their round robin games on Monday 25 March at Ryde pool finishing second in the competition against the State Catholic and Private School teams.
At the conclusion, an all schools State Side was selected to represent NSW in the All School Girls in the Australian All Schools Championships in Perth from May 20 to 25, she was successful in gaining selection.
A big congratulations to A.Scott of Year 11, we are all very proud of your selection here at Sylvania High School. Good luck in May!

N.Middleton qualifies for State in multiple swimming events
N.Middleton has continued his success in the pool this year, qualifying for every event at the Zone Carnival. He finished runner up for age champion and qualified in multiple events for region. From here, this talented athlete continued his success moving on to the CHS in the following events:
Boys 16 200 Free Boys 16 100 fly Boys 15-16 200 IM Congratulations, your hard work and dedication have been rewarded with these great achievements.

University of Sydney – Science Lecture

Pupils participating in the State Titles on 24th/25th March 2018
SHS Students who are members of the Koa Kai Outrigging Canoe club will be competing in the Trans-Tasman Nationals later in September. Well done to all of our students!

Congratulations to C.English-White Dux of 2017 with an ATAR of 97.7.
Special mention also to P.Isaac with an ATAR of 96.1 and A. Lorenz with an ATAR of 94.65.

Congratulations to Ms Vicki Smith who was presented with the Teachers Mutual Bank School Sport Teacher Recognition Award for her service to school sport in NSW.
