Our own dynamic Japanese sensei, Ms. Clair Dawson (aka ‘Awesome Dawson’) has returned all of our staff and students safely home after a whirlwind tour of Japan. The intrepid band of Y10 students and support staff, including Mrs. Karen Wuromus and Relieving Principal Craig Brown, toured Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka before the red eye return flight to Sydney via Cairns. The cultural immersion tour forms a significant part of the curriculum for Stage 5 Japanese students and will prove a popular trip every 2 years for our school.
